This diploma thesis will attempt to analyze some of the most pertinent legal issues surrounding the international trade in fine art. It will focus on the main issues that should be considered by a potencial party to a private law relationship with an international element in transactions concerning art, as well as on pointing out the most typical risks that arise from these transactions.
