Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce „Pod Mléčným lesem“: rozhlasová hra Dylana Thomase a její proměny v čase a v médiích je popsat, analyzovat a zhodnotit metamorfózy tohoto svébytného dramatického útvaru při adaptaci pro film, televizi a divadlo. První část práce tvoří dramaturgický rozbor textu rozhlasové hry Pod Mléčným lesem. Druhá část se věnuje reprezentativnímu vzorku rozhlasových inscenací, a zejména adaptacím hry pro jiná média. Třetí část přináší úvahy nad dalšími autorskými východisky.

Abstract:

The aim of thesis „Under Milk Wood”: radio play by Dylan Thomas and its metamorphosis in time and different media is to describe, analyse and assess the changes and transformation of this peculiar dramatic structure when it is adapted for the screen, television or theatre. The first part of thesis contains dramaturgy analysis of radio play Under Milk wood. The second part presents a sample of radio production and namely adaptation for other media. The third part of thesis introduces reflections and contemplations on another possible performances and authorial attitudes toward the dramatic text.
