Diplomová práce sleduje, jak německá škola Bauhaus ovlivnila českou avantgardu. Úvodní kapitola popisuje z obecného hlediska dění na Bauhausu a v prostředí české avantgardy, kde vůdčími osobnostmi byly Walter Gropius a Karel Teige. This thesis examines how the German Bauhaus school influenced the Czech avantgarde. The introductory chapter describes in general terms events at the Bauhaus and the Czech avantgarde, where leaders were Walter Gropius and Karel Teige.
