Ethical aspects of non - bank loans and credits from the perspective of experience gained from the global financial crisis

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá etikou nebankovních úvěrů. Nejdříve etikou samotnou, pak vysvětlením základních pojmů a finanční gramotnosti. Dále popisuje proces vymáhání pohledávek a možnosti řešení, když se člověk ocitne v situaci, kdy nezvládá hradit svoje závazky. V práci je vysvětlena funkce úvěrových registrů, jejich činnost a informace, které evidují. V další části diplomová práce popisuje situaci v České republice týkající se sektoru nebankovních služeb. Praktickým příkladem spojení etiky a úvěrů je Index etického úvěrování Člověka v tísni, který umožňuje srovnání úvěrových produktů největších nebankovních společností v ČR. Dalším příkladem je Navigátor bezpečného úvěru, jehož cílem je nasměrovat zájemce o úvěr k bezpečným věřitelům. Na konci práce, v kapitole s názvem „Otázky a odpovědi týkající se oblasti nebankovního finančního sektoru“, vyjadřují svůj postoj příslušné instituce k otázkám etiky nebankovních úvěrů.

Abstract:

This dissertation discusses the ethics of nonbanking credits. At first it analyzes the ethics itself by an explanation of basic terms and financial grammar. It also describes the process of enforcement of claims and the possibility of a solution when a person finds himself/herself in a situation where he/she cannot pay his/her liabilities. In this paper there is explained a function of credit registers, their activities and information which they register. In the next chapter of this paper there is described the situation in the Czech Republic regarding a sector of nonbanking services. A practical example of a connection of ethics and credits is an Index of ethical behaviour of People in Need, which allows the comparison of credit products of the biggest nonbanking companies in the Czech Republic. A next example is a Navigator of a secure credit whose goal is to aim the potential customer of a credit towards secure creditors. At the end of this paper in the last chapter with a title "Questions and answers regarding areas of a nonbanking financial sector" specific institutions express their attitude towards the questions of ethics of nonbanking credits.
