Quality of life and value orientation of socially excluded locality inhabitants

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou kvality života a hodnotové orientace obyvatel sociálně vyloučených lokalit v Krásném Březně. Skládá se z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část se věnuje definování pojmu kvalita života, popisu jejích dimenzí a činitelů a metodám jejího měření. Dále se soustředí na definici a klasifikaci hodnot a jejich funkci. Další kapitola je věnována problematice sociálního vyloučení, popisuje faktory, které ho ovlivňují a dimenze sociálního vyloučení. Poslední kapitola teoretické části práce popisuje městskou část Krásné Březno, ve které byl výzkum uskutečněn a vyloučenou lokalitu nalézající se v ní. Empirická část práce je věnována výzkumnému šetření zaměřenému na kvalitu života obyvatel vyloučených lokalit v Krásném Březně realizovaného standardizovaným dotazníkem kvality života Comprehersive Quality of Life Scale 5 a strukturovaným rozhovorem. V práci jsou prezentovány výsledky výzkumného šetření a jejich diskuze. Na závěr jsou uvedena a doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the quality of life and value orientation of the inhabitants from a socially excluded locality. The thesis is consisted of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is dedicated to the definition of quality of life, description of its dimensions and factors as well as its evaluation methods. The next chapter focuses on a further definition and classification of values and their functions. The next chapter is dedicated to a problematic issue of social exclusion and its dimensions; it describes its influencing factors. The last chapter of theoretical part provides a detailed description of Krásné Březno district, where the research was implemented. The empirical part is dedicated to the analysis of the quality of life and value orientation of socially excluded locality Krásné Březno inhabitants, which was implemented by using the standardised instrument Comprehersive Quality of Life Scale 5 and by a structured interview. In the final part of thesis the results of the research and discussion are represented. Recommendations for further practice are given in the conclusion.
