The schooling in socially excluded localities and the impact of migration on pupil education

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je vzdělávání v sociálně vyloučených lokalitách a vliv migrace na vzdělávání žáků. Pro snadnější pochopení a orientaci v tématu je v počátku věnován prostor etnickým odlišnostem Romů, jejich jazyku a zvykům. Práce se podrobněji zabývá historií Romů, jejich usazováním, migrací a následnou sociální exkluzí. Zabývá se dále sociálně vyloučenými lokalitami a přibližuje vzdělávání v těchto lokalitách. Jako příklad uvádí základní školu v Obrnicích v okrese Most. Popisuje pomoc této škole v sociální oblasti, kdy se zapojují nízkoprahová centra působící v obci, sociální asistenti a další organizace. Cílem této práce bylo přiblížit, jaký vliv má prostředí vyloučených lokalit na vzdělávání žáků a které organizace mohou být ve vzdělávání školám nápomocny.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the education in some socially excluded locations and the influence of migration on the education of pupils. For easier understanding and orientation in the topic the beginning of the thesis is devoted to the ethnic differences of the Roma, their language and customs. The thesis deals in more detail with the history of the Roma, their settlement, migration and subsequent social exclusion. It also deals with some socially excluded locations and approaches education in these locations. I give as an example the elementary school in Obrnice village in the Most district. The thesis describes help for this school in the social area, when low-threshold centers operating in the village, social assistants and the other organizations are involved. The aim of my thesis was to describe the influence of the environment of excluded locations on the education of pupils and which organizations can be helpful in school education.
