Práce pojednává o vyobrazení konceptu smrti režisérem Woody Allenem, který ve svém díle skrze filmovou řeč a postavy reflektuje určitou potřebu zabývat se tématem smrtelnosti. Práce se zaměřuje především na filmy, které jsou touto tématikou ovlivněny, a zároveň inspirovány dílem švédského režiséra Ingmara Bergmana. The thesis deals with the depiction of the concept of death, which director Woody Allen focuses on in his work. He reflects through the language of film and characters his particular need to deal with mortality. The thesis focuses mainly on films that are being influenced by this theme and at the same time inspired by the work of Swedish director Ingmar Bergman.
