Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá britským a kanadským politickým diskurzem. Konkrétně je zkoumán výskyt slovesného rodu v politickém diskurzu a jeho funkce. Teoretická část poskytuje úvod do této tématiky, ve kterém jsou čtenáři objasněny základní termíny a vlastnosti diskurzu.
