The assessment of a posture of a representative group of pupils from primary school

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na hodnocení držení těla u vybrané skupiny žáků prvního stupně základní školy. V teoretické části se zabýváme například charakteristikou sledovaného období, držením těla, faktory ovlivňujícími držení těla nebo metodami jeho hodnocení. Dále se také věnujeme předchozím šetřením dané problematiky. Pro hodnocení držení těla byla zvolena metoda Jaroše a Lomíčka. Po zpracování a vyhodnocení všech dat, která byla získána během testování, jsme došli k závěru, že dívky nemají lepší držení těla než chlapci, ale že děti ve věku 6-7 let mají lepší držení těla oproti dětem ve věku 10-11 let.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the assessment of body posture of a selected group of primary school pupils. In the theoretical part, we deal, for example, with the characteristics of the monitored period, posture, factors influencing the posture or methods of its evaluation. We also deal with previous investigations of the given issue. The method of Jaroš and Lomíček was chosen for the assessment of body posture. After processing and evaluating all the data that was obtained during the testing, we came to the conclusion that girls do not have better posture than boys, but that children aged 6-7 years have better posture than children aged 10-11 years.
