Central bank asset management

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce „Asset management centrálních bank“ je srovnání struktury aktiv bilance centrálních bank. Srovnání je provedeno na vybraných centrálních bankách vyspělých zemí. Úvodní část se zaměřuje na teoretický rozbor funkcí centrálních bank a jejich primární cíle. Část bakalářské práce se zaměřuje na proces rozhodování představitelů centrální banky a jejich organizační uspořádání. Hlavní zaměření práce je správa, alokace a optimalizace devizových rezerv centrálních bank. Výstupem této práce je vyhodnocení vybraných důsledků alokace rezerv centrálních bank.

Abstract:

The subject of the bachelor thesis "Asset management of central banks" is a comparison of the structure of central bank balance sheets. The comparison is made at selected central banks of developed countries. The introductory part focuses on a theoretical analysis of the functions of central banks and their primary objectives. Part of the bachelor work focuses on the decision-making process of central bank representatives and their organizational structure. The focus of the work is the management, allocation, and optimization of foreign exchange reserves of central banks. The output of this work is an evaluation of selected consequences of the allocation of central bank reserves.
