Revokácia X.509 certifikátov je kriticky dôležitou súčasťou dnešnej Web PKI infraštruktúry použitej v TLS protokole. Žiaľ, mnoho známych a bežne používaných revokačných schém určených k revokácii X.509 certifikátov trpí viacerými nedostatkami, akými sú napríklad súkromie, zvýšená latencia či nutnosť zmeny súčasnej infraštruktúry. Revocation of X.509 certificates is a critically important part of today's Web PKI infrastructure used in the TLS protocol. Unfortunately, many well-known and commonly used revocation schemes designed to revoke X.509 certificates suffer from several shortcomings, such as privacy, increased latency, or the need to change current infrastructure.
