Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Percepce životních hodnot u pacientů v terminálním stádiu nemoci je prací teoreticko-výzkumnou. V teoretické části je popisována problematika umírání a smrti, paliativní a hospicové péče, postojů, hodnot a hodnotové orientace a v neposlední řade je v práci popsána existenciální analýza, logoterapie a představujeme zakladatele fenoménů V. E. Frankla. V empirické části jsou prezentovány jednotlivé případové studie respondentů, u kterých byla ukončena kurativní léčba a následně započata léčba paliativní či symptomatologická. Rozhovory byly zaměřeny na zmapování životních hodnot u vybraných respondentů, kteří si museli uvědomit blízkost smrti.

Abstract:

The Diploma thesis "Perception of life values by patients in the terminal stage of a disease" is composed of theoretical and investigatory part. The theoretical part describes the issue of dying and death, palliative and hospice care, attitudes, values and values´ orientation. Last but not least it talks about existential analysis with logotherapy and the founder of those phenomena V. E. Frankl. The empirical part presents respective case studies of respondents who have just finished with curative care and have started palliative or symptomatology care. The interciews were focused on mapping life values of those respondents who had to realize their proximity to death.
