Abstract:

Práce předkládá ucelený postoj k integraci žáka - cizince do školního kolektivu na druhém stupni ZŠ. Reflektuje a porovnává minulý a současný stav legislativního ukotvení systému podpory a seznamuje s náčrtem očekávaných změn. Interpretuje tematicky související pojmy a vymezuje činnost asistenta pedagoga (AP), doplněnou reflexí spolupráce AP se žákem - cizincem, z níž se potvrdila potřeba jisté reformy v této oblasti zasahující do strukturálních podmínek, kapacity pro posilování dovedností jednotlivých aktérů integrace a nastavení podpůrných mechanismů uvnitř vzdělávacího systému i systému sociálních služeb. Důraz je kladen na komunikativní kompetence žáků - cizinců, jejichž nedostatečný rozvoj znemožňuje kvalitní sociální interakce a rovnocenné vzdělávání. Jedinec je tak indikován k exkluzi, ztrátě pracovního potenciálu, nezávislosti a samostatnosti. Práce nabízí možnosti, jak lze tuto negativní prognózu změnit k obrazu plně integrovaného člověka ve vzájemně se obohacující společnosti.

Abstract:

The thesis represents a comprehensive approach to the integration of a foreign pupil into a school community in the second stage of elementary school. It reflects and compares the past and current state of the legislative anchoring of the support system and introduces an outline of the expected changes. The thesis further interprets thematically related concepts and defines the activities of the teaching assistant (TA). At the same time, it is complemented by a reflection of TA’s cooperation with a foreign pupil, which confirms the need for reform intervening in structural conditions, the ability to strengthen the skills of individual actors in integration and establishment of support mechanisms within the education system and social services system. Emphasis is placed on foreign pupils’ communication competencies, otherwise, their insufficient development can limit the quality of social interactions and equal education, and thus be indicated for exclusion, loss of work potential, independence, and autonomy. The thesis presents prospects of how this negative prognosis can be altered to the image of a fully integrated person in a reciprocally enriching society.
