The otherness of handicap from the point of view of inclusion and philosophy of education

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem jinakosti handicapu z pohledu inkluze a filozofie výchovy a snaží se svým zaměřením navázat na filozofickou a pedagogickou tradici reflektování problematiky jinakosti jakožto handicapu, znevýhodnění či postižení. Z teoretických předpokladů je téma jinakosti představeno především z hlediska filosofického a hermeneutického porozumění a z toho vyplývajících předpokladů pro pochopení znevýhodnění ve výchovném a vzdělávacím procesu. Jsou zde představeny i různorodé přístupy k problematice handicapu z dějin filozofie a pedagogiky, stejně jako současné teorie inkluzivní pedagogiky a filozofie výchovy. Empirická část práce, která je výzkumným doplněním k tématu, si klade za cíl zohlednit postoje a názory na inkluzi respondentů z řad pedagogů, ale i studentů připravujících se na pedagogickou praxi.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of otherness of disability from the perspective of inclusion and philosophy of education and tries to build on the philosophical and pedagogical tradition of reflecting on the issue of otherness as a handicap, disadvantage or disability. From the theoretical assumptions, is the theme of otherness presented primarily in terms of philosophical and hermeneutical understanding and the resulting assumptions for understanding the disadvantage in educational process. There are also presented various approaches to the issue of disability from the history of philosophy and pedagogy, as well as the current theory of inclusive pedagogy and philosophy of education. The empirical part of the thesis, which is a research supplement to the topic, aims to take into account the attitudes and opinions on the inclusion of respondents, who are already practicing teachers, but also students preparing for teaching practice.
