Attitudes towards physical education and sport and their connection with physical activity of high school students in Havířov-Prostřední Suchá

Abstract:

V diplomové práci se zabývám postoji k tělesné výchově a sportu a jejich souvislostmi s úrovní pohybové aktivity studentek Střední školy v Havířově - Prostřední Suché. Cílem práce je zjistit, do jaké míry ovlivňuje postoj k tělesné výchově celkovou pohybovou aktivitu. Pro sběr dat byl využit dotazník DIPO - Junior, který rozděluje postoje do šesti dimenzí. Dále byl použit záznamový arch týkající se realizované doby a úrovně jednotlivých aktivit, realizovaných v jednotlivých dnech. Hlavním cílem bylo zjistit, zda existuje vztah mezi pohybovou aktivitou a postojem k tělesné výchově. Výsledky poukázaly na vztah mezi jednotlivými dimenzemi a určitým druhem úrovně pohybové aktivity. Ve třetí dimenzi se objevil vztah s víkendovou MPVA, což znamená, že čím vyšší skóre v dimenzi zaznamenáme, tím vyšší je MPVA o víkendu. Další vztah se objevil v dimenzi čtyři. Zde je spojitost s celkovou průměrnou hodnotou MPVA a počty kroků. Dále ještě můžeme v dimenzi 4 vydedukovat vzájemné propojení s MPVA ve školních dnech. Polední vztah postoje k pohybové aktivitě nalezneme v dimenzi 6, která se projevuje v počtu kroků realizovaných o víkendu. Dále jsem zjišťoval, jakým způsobem funguje tělesná výchova v rámci distanční výuky a jestli škola podporuje rozvoj pohybových aktivit. Z výsledku vyplynulo, že studentky mají ve čtyřech dimenzích kladný postoj a ve dvou dimenzích neutrální postoj k pohybovým aktivitám. Z výsledků záznamových archů jsem zjistil, že pouze 13,2 % studen-tek splňuje denní doporučenou úroveň pohybové aktivity (MPVA), která je stanovena WHO. Dále bylo zjištěno, že z důvodu výskytu pandemie Covid - 19 je obsah pohybových aktivit velmi strohý a studentky pohybové aktivity realizovaly především chůzí a domácími pracemi. Při zjišťování informací o tom, zda probíhá tělesná výchova v distanční výuce, 44,4 % studentek uvedlo, že tělesná výchova probíhá. Velmi pozitivní zjištění bylo, že škola motivuje všechny žáky k pravidelné pohybové aktivitě v rámci soutěže "Olympijská šedesátka", kterou vytvořili učitelé tělocviku na základě 60. výročí založení školy.

Abstract:

In my diploma thesis I deal with the attitude to Physical Education and Sport and its con-nection with the level of physical activity of the students of the school in Havířov - Suchá. The aim of the work is to find out to what extent the attitude to Physical Education influences the overall physical activity. The DIPO - Junior questionnaire was used for data collection, which divides attitudes into six dimensions. Furthermore, the LTEQ questionnaire measuring the level of physical activity was used, as well as a record sheet concerning the realized time and the level of individual activities, realized on individual days. The main goal was to find out whether there is a relationship between physical activity and attitude to physical education. The results showed a relationship between individual dimensions and a certain type of level of physical activity. In the third dimension, there was a relation-ship with the weekend MPVA, which means that the higher the score in the dimension, the higher the MPVA on the weekend. Another relationship appeared in dimension four. Here is the relationship with the overall average MPVA value and the number of steps. Furthermore, in dimension 4 we can deduce the mutual connection with MPVA on school days. The last relationship of attitude to physical activity can be found in dimension 6, which is reflected in the number of steps taken over the weekend. I also found out how physical education works within distance learning and whether the school supports the development of physical activities. The result showed that the students have a positive attitude in four dimensions and a neutral attitude in two dimensions. From the results of the record sheets, I found that only 13,2 % of students meet the daily recommended level of physical activity (MPVA), which is set by the WHO. It was also found that due to the occurrence of the Covid - 19 pandemic, the content of physical activities is very strict, and the students main-ly carried out walking and housework. When finding out information about whether physi-cal education takes place in distance education, 44,4 % of female students stated that phys-ical education takes place. A very positive finding was that the school motivates all stu-dents to regular physical activity in the competition "Olympic Sixties" created by physical education teachers on the basis of the 60th anniversary of the school.
