Abstract:

Vysokofrekvenční audiometrie slouží k vyšetření sluchového prahu v intervalu frekvencí od 8 do 20 kHz. Pro tyto frekvence nejsou stanovené normy, hodnoty, které by ještě neznamenaly poškození sluchového prahu. Pro detekci sluchových vad se v běžné praxi využívá konvenční tónové audiometrie, která slouží k vyšetření prahu sluchu od 0,125 do 8 kHz. Cílem této diplomové práce bylo popsat základy vysokofrekvenční audiometrie a porovnat sluchový práh ve vysokých frekvencích respondentů exponovaných hluku a těch neexponovaných pro jednotlivé věkové kategorie. Dále pak porovnat změnu prahu sluchu u exponovaných respondentů po dvou letech zvlášť pro každou věkovou kategorii. V teoretické části jsou stručně popsány sluchové vady a vyšetřovací metody se zaměřením na konvenční tónovou audiometrii a audiometrii vysokofrekvenční. V praktické části jsou zpracována data získána z audiometrického měření v intervalu frekvencí od 0,125 do 16 kHz. Ze získaných hodnot byly vytvořené průměrné audiometrické prahové křivky pro jednotlivé věkové kategorie exponovaných a neexponovaných respondentů. Při porovnání průměrných prahových křivek bylo zjištěno, že s přibývajícím věkem dochází ke zvyšování prahu sluchu, a to výrazněji ve vysokých frekvencích. Čím vyšší věková kategorie, tím svažitější průběh křivky. U exponovaných respondentů ve všech věkových kategoriích byly vyšší průměrné ztráty sluchu než u respondentů neexponovaných, a to zejména ve vysokých frekvencích. Ke zvýšení prahu sluchu došlo také u exponovaných respondentů v průběhu dvou let, navýšení sluchového prahu bylo nejvýraznější u věkové kategorie 18-29 let, s přibývajícím věkem byly tyto rozdíly mírnější.

Abstract:

High-frequency audiometry is used to examine the auditory threshold in the frequency range from 8 to 20 kHz. There are no standards for these frequencies, values that would not damage the auditory threshold. Conventional tone audiometry is used to detect hearing impairments, and is used to examine hearing thresholds from 0.125 to 8 kHz. The aim of this thesis was to describe the basis of high-frequency audiometry and compare the auditory threshold at high frequencies of respondentsexposed to noise and those unexposed for individual age categories. Furthermore, compare the change in hearing threshold for exposed respondents after two years separately for each age category. The theoretical part briefly describes the hearing defects and examination methods used for their detection, focusing on conventional tone and high frequency audiometry. In the practical part are processed data obtained from audiometric measurement in the frequency interval from 0.125 to 16 kHz. From the obtained values were generated average threshold curves for individual age categories of exposed and unexposed respondents. When comparing the average threshold curves, it was found that the hearing threshold increases with increasing age, more markedly at high frequencies. The higher the age category, the steeper the curve is. In the case of exposed respondents in all age categories, the average hearing loss was higher than that of unexposed respondents, especially at high frequencies. There was also an increase in the hearing threshold for exposed respondents during two years, with an increase in the auditory threshold being most significant in the 18-29 age group, but these differences being more moderate as age increased.
