Práca sa zaoberá problematikou Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systémov. Teoretická časť popisuje SIEM systémy, log manažment a event manažment. Ďalej sa v práci rozoberá Device Modeling Framework Definitions (DMFD), konkretný druh parseru SIEM systémov a popisujú sa jeho prvky a vlastnosti.
