Position of a School Psychologist in the School Relation Setting – from the Point of View of a School Psychologist and a Teacher.

Abstract:

V diplomové práci Pozice školního psychologa ve vztahových rámcích školy – z pohledu školního psychologa a učitele se zabývám postavením školního psychologa na základní škole, spoluprací a vztahy mezi školním psychologem a učitelem. V první části práce se věnuji školní psychologii jako aplikované psychologické disciplíně. Následují kapitoly mapující pracovní vymezení školního psychologa, jeho legislativní podporu, kritická místa profese a spolupráci školních psychologů a pedagogů. V empirické části se zaměřuji na školního psychologa a učitele, s kterými jsem prováděla rozhovory o jejich vzájemných vztazích a spolupráci. Výzkum byl dále doplněn dotazníkem pro učitele mapující některé proměnné odrážející se na jejich vztahu ke školnímu psychologovi. Ve zkoumaných šesti školách jsem zjistila, že školní psychologové po prvotních nesnázích dobře zapadli do vztahových rámců školy, přesto je jejich pozice specifická. Tyto specifika vycházejí z funkce školního psychologa a jeho náplně práce.

Abstract:

In my diploma thesis called Position of a School Psychologist in the School Relation Setting – from the Point of View of a School Psychologist and a Teacher I focus on the position of a school psychologist at a basic school as well as on cooperation and relations between a school psychologist and a teacher. In the first part of the work I concentrate on school psychology as applied psychological discipline. Following chapters describe a scope of work of a school psychologist, his/her legislative support, critical points of the profession and cooperation of school psychologists and teachers. In the empirical part I focus on the school psychologist and the teacher I made interviews with. I concentrated on their mutual relations and cooperation in the interviews. The research was further supplemented with a questionnaire for teachers charting some variables reflecting their relation to a school psychologist. I did a research in six schools and I found out that school psychologists integrated well into school relation settings, even though their position is specific. These particularities result from the function of a school psychologist and from his/her job description.
