Crime and punishment: Comparison of Woody Allen's Match Point and Crimes and Misdemeanors
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis attempts to compare two movies by Woody Allen, in which the questions of crime and punishment play the most important role. The thesis will briefly introduce Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) and Match Point (2005) in the context of Allen?s work and will focus on Allen?s way of presentation amoral behaviour and its consequences.
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se pokusí porovnat dva filmy Woodyho Allena, v nichž hlavní roli hraje zločin a trest za něj. Tato práce stručně představí filmy Zločiny a poklesky (1989) a Match Point: Hra osudu (2005) v kontextu Allenovy tvorby a zaměří se na způsob jakým tento známý americký režisér prezentuje vinu a následky amorálního jednání.
