Specifics of perioperative nurse's work in the selected operating room

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce jsou specifika výkonu povolání perioperační sestry na vybraném operačním sále. Sestra pro perioperační péči by měla být vysoce specializovanou odbornicí. Teoretická část vysvětluje pojem sestra pro perioperační péči, zaměřuje se na vzdělávání sester pro perioperační péči, jejich charakterové vlastnosti a kompetence. Dále navazující kapitoly popisují náplň páce sester pro perioperační péči, ošetřovatelskou dokumentaci na operačním sále, nežádoucí události na operačním sále a operační trakt. Průzkumná část pomocí metody polostrukturovaného kvalitativního rozhovoru zjišťuje činnosti, které vykonává sestra pro perioperační péči na vybraném operačním sále v roli instrumentující a obíhající sestry. Dále zjišťuje, s jakými problémy se sestry pro perioperační péči setkávají v roli instrumentující a obíhající sestry a zároveň jaká doporučení ke zlepšení sestry pro perioperační péči navrhují.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is specifics of perioperative nurse's work in the selected operating room. The perioperative nurse should be a highly specialized specialist. The theoretical part explains the concept of perioperative nurse, focuses on the education of perioperative nurses, their characteristics and competencies. The following chapters describe the content of the perioperative nurse's work, the nursing documentation in the operating room, adverse events in the operating room and the operating tract. Using the method of semi-structured qualitative interview, the reconnaissance part determines the activities performed by the perioperative nurse in the selected operating room in the role of an instrumentation and circulating nurse. It also investigates what problems perioperative nurses encounter in the role of an instrumentation and circulating nurse and at the same time what recommendations perioperative nurses propose to improve.
