Abstract:
This thesis presents a translation of the Dutch novel Oeroeg by the author Hella S. Haasse into Slovak. It uses the translation theories of Dagmar Knittlová, Willy Vandeweghe, Mona Baker and Sandor Hervey/Ian Higgins to analyze the translation process. This analysis consists of two parts.
