A study targets on a phenomenon of a transition of two cultural paradigms, modern to postmodern one, which is showed on a historical background, that started a creation of postmodern society, aspects of modernism and postmodernism, and on a analysis of two fictions of Aldous Huxley, Brave New World and Island, which stand in ideological counteraction.
