Comparison of the Foreign Policy of the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic in the Context of NATO Entrance
Abstract:
Cílem práce je provést komparaci zahraniční politiky České republiky a Slovenské republiky ve dvou obdobích (1993-1999 a 1999-2004). Hypotézou práce je, že za vyřazením Slovenska z první vlny rozšiřování NATO stojí nekonzistentní zahraniční politika a demokratický deficit v politickém systému země.
Abstract:
The main goal of this work is to make a comparison of the foreign policy of the Czech republic and the Slovak republic in two periods (1993-1999 and 1999-2004). The main hypothesis is, that the democratical deficit in the country and unstable foreign policy were the crucial reasons why was Slovak republic set asside from the first wave od NATO enlargement.
