The consequences of an employee's incapacity for work from the employer's point of view

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se bude věnovat dočasné pracovní neschopnosti zaměstnance z pohledu zaměstnavatele. Na začátku práce budou vymezeny základní pojmy pracovní neschopnosti a popsán řádný postup k obdržení pracovní neschopnosti. Dále se bakalářská práce zaměří na úskalí, kterým čelí zaměstnavatel, když má zaměstnance na pracovní neschopnosti. V bakalářské práci bude dále popsáno, za jakých okolností může dát zaměstnavatel zaměstnanci výpověď nebo mu snížit, případně neposkytnout, náhradu mzdy z důvodu porušení režimu na pracovní neschopnosti. Praktickou částí této práce bude rozhovor se zástupcem vybrané společnosti. Cílem rozhovoru bude zjistit, co vidí zaměstnavatel jako největší problémy s pracovní neschopností zaměstnanců. Na závěr bakalářské práce budou shrnuty poznatky, které přiblíží zaměstnavatelům problematiku pracovní neschopnosti.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis will deal with the temporary incapacity of the employee from the employer's point of view. At the beginning of the thesis, the basic concepts of incapacity for work will be defined and the proper procedure for obtaining incapacity for work will be described. Furthermore, the bachelor thesis will focus on the pitfalls that an employer faces when he has an employee on sick leave.The bachelor thesis will also describe under what circumstances the employer may give notice to the employee or reduce, or not provide, wage compensation due to a breach of the regime for incapacity for work. The practical part of this work will be an interview with a representative of the selected company. The aim of the interview will be to find out what the employer sees as the biggest problems with employees' sick leave. At the end of the bachelor thesis, the findings will be summarized, which will bring employers closer to the issue of incapacity for work.
