Pitfalls and dilemma of long-term and short-term nursing

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na oblast nemocenského pojištění a změn od roku 2022, upraveného zákonem č. 187/2006 Sb., o nemocenském pojištění, ve znění pozdějších předpisů. Pro svou bakalářskou práci jsem si vybrala problematiku ošetřovného a dlouhodobého ošetřovného, kterých se změny v oblasti nemocenského pojištění dotýkaly nejvíce. Cílem práce je porovnat podmínky nároků na ošetřovné a dlouhodobé ošetřovné jako dávky nemocenského pojištění před a po roce 2022. V teoretické části bude popsána legislativa jednotlivých dávek nemocenského pojištění, zejména v oblasti ošetřovného a dlouhodobého ošetřovného. Výzkumná část bakalářské práce bude probíhat formou rozhovorů s lékaři a bude zaměřen na analýzu vybraných případů, které byly zamítnuty před úpravou zákona. Provedené změny dotazovaní respondenti hodnotili kladně. Z jednotlivých rozhovorů vyplynuly návrhy k dalším úpravám zákona o nemocenském pojištění. Kromě již provedených změn lékaři navrhovali například možnost zkrácení intervalů mezi jednotlivými čerpáními dlouhodobého ošetřovného.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the area of health insurance and changes since 2022, amended by Act No. 187/2006 Coll., On health insurance, as amended. For my bachelor's thesis, I chose the issue of nursing and long-term nursing, which were most affected by changes in health insurance. The aim of this work is to compare the conditions of entitlements to nursing and long-term nursing such as sickness insurance benefits before and after 2022. The theoretical part describes the legislation of individual sickness insurance benefits, especially in the field of nursing and long-term nursing. The research part consists of interviews with doctors. These interviews are focused on cases that were rejected before the amendment of the law. The respondents evaluated the changes of law positively. The individual interviews resulted in further amendments to the Sickness Insurance Act. In addition to the changes that have been already made, the doctors suggested, for example, the possibility of shortening the intervals between individual draws of the long-term nursing home.
