Anotácia:

Táto diplomová práca skúma postavenie internetovej komunity Dark Academia. Prostredníctvom rozsiahleho výskumu na sociálnych sieťach skúma, či možno Dark Academia považovať za modernú subkultúru. Táto práca popisuje vývoj subkultúrnych teórií, internetu, a súčasných internetových subkultúr a situuje Dark Academia medzi iné subkultúry a zároveň poskytuje pohľad do vnútornej politiky komunity – inšpirácie, kontroverzie a kontrakultúrne tendencie.

Abstract:

This master’s thesis explores the position of an Internet community Dark Academia. Through extensive research on social media platforms, it examines whether Dark Academia can be considered a modern subculture. Tracing the development of subcultural theories, the Internet, and contemporary Internet subcultures, this thesis positions Dark Academia within other subcultures, as well as gives insight into the inner workings of the community – the inspirations, controversies, and countercultural tendencies.
